New and Improved Chicken Dance

Can you tell that Spencer has been watching me clog lately? Many of the little kids that go dance like this and it's so cute! I'm glad Spence finally learned some new moves! (Sorry the quality isn't very good. We have a cheapo video camera.)

My Little Bro

My one and only brother, Marc, just got elected Student Body President of BYU-Idaho! Way to go Marc!!!! I would have never had the guts, determination or the charisma to do something like that.

Marc and I were NOT friends growing up. He is 5 years younger than me and loved to torment my little sisters while I was babysitting all of them. I was a mean, bossy older sister that fought with him constantly and locked him out of the house on more than one occasion. I would have never thought that I would actually like Marc when we were older, let alone that enough other people would like him enough to elect him Student Body Pres! He has turned into a really cool, dedicated, hard-working, likable and smart young man and I'm proud to be his older sister.



P.S.: For any of you single ladies out there, Marc is looking for a great girl. :) He's a 22-year-old returned missionary and a communications major, but is also working on the Seminary teaching program.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Oh, how I love spring and the end of winter! I LOVE blossoms and daffodils!









This little car is quite possibly the best little boy toy ever invented. Some neighbors whose boys had outgrown it passed the car on to Spencer. He is in heaven and spends a good chunk of everyday playing with it on our deck. The only down side is that I have to leave our sliding door open while he's playing out there and the house gets a little cool. Uninterrupted dinner prep time is well worth the chill though. :)








These two are my favorite people in the whole world! They make me so happy to be a wife and a mommy.




Lastly, I recently discovered that there is a mom's clogging group that meets at a local church building to clog every week. The kids play in the nursery while the moms dance. I've only been twice and haven't been able to do much dancing because they were polishing dances for performances, but I'm SO excited to have the chance to dance again. Clogging isn't my favorite type of dance, but it was the first dance class I ever took (when I was 10) and I guess that's where I learned to love dance. I had to dig these babies out of storage and I'm going to have to develop new callouses where they rub my feet.

Whew!

We got our appraisal report today and everything looks great, so....

we'll be moving into our OWN house at the end of the month!

The uncertain waiting has been driving me crazy, so it's a huge relief to know it's for sure. Now, we can really get to work packing, cleaning, planning, buying, painting and cleaning again. I always forget how much I hate moving until we do it again. This time it will be worth it though! :)
